Who it's for

This tour is ideal for you

Ideal for anyone who has always wanted to see Egypt and would rather do it in a small group, with everything arranged and no visas, transfers or tickets to sort out along the way. It suits couples, friends travelling together and solo travellers, with a single room option. The pace is full, with early starts and a fair amount of walking on uneven ground in the sun, so come ready to be on your feet. December is one of the best months to go: mild days in Cairo and on the Nile, without the punishing summer heat.

Frequently asked questions

Who organises this trip?

The trip is organised and operated by Quinto Império, a brand of Limite Viagens e Turismo, a travel agency working since 1991. Book 'N Pin is a booking channel and stays with you through the process: we take your enquiry, answer questions and pass the booking on. The travel contract is signed with the organising agency.

What are the dates and the price?

The departure is 4 to 13 December 2026, ten days. The price is €3,790 per person sharing a double room, with flights, cruise, hotels, visits, guide, insurance and taxes included. Solo travellers pay a single room supplement of €580.

What is not included?

The entry visa, around 25 US dollars and issued on arrival, drinks on board and at meals, gratuities for guides and crew, and personal expenses. The single room supplement is also separate.

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Yes, but it is straightforward: for most passports it is issued on arrival for around 25 US dollars. Always confirm the rules for your nationality with the consulate before travelling, as they can change.

What is the Nile cruise like?

Four nights aboard a five star boat between Luxor and Aswan, in an outside cabin with a panoramic window, full board. The boat is your hotel for those days, so there is no packing and unpacking.

How many people travel in the group?

It is a small group and places are limited. The first departure sold out, so it is worth registering your interest early if the date works for you.

How do I book and when do I pay?

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and how many you are. We send the full programme and the organising agency's booking conditions, including the deposit and payment deadlines, before you commit to anything.

Is it physically demanding?

The pace is full, with some early starts and a fair amount of walking on uneven ground in the sun. No special preparation is needed, but you should be comfortable walking for several hours a day. Tell us if anyone in the group has limitations and we will check with the organisers.
